Beyond his teaching, Sean is the creative force behind *Shanghai Sonatas*, a symphony orchestra work that has garnered significant attention. He is currently in the process of adapting it into a Broadway musical, showcasing his talents not only as a performer but also as a composer and producer.

He received the 2013 ACE Eddie Award for Documentaries for his work as Supervising Editor on TWENTY FEET FROM STARDOM, the winner of the 2014 Critic’s Choice Award, and the 2014 Academy Award winner for Best Documentary.
Doug is the editor and an associate producer of the Academy Award-nominated THE INVISIBLE WAR, winner of the 2014 Emmy for Best Documentary. He is co-producer and editor of OF TWO MINDS (about bipolar disorder), a winner of the 2013 Voice Awards. He is the Consulting Editor on the 2014 Sundance Documentary Grand Jury Prize winning RICH HILL. He was also the editor of other notable films, including Wordplay, Troubadors, These Amazing Shadows, I.O.U.S.A., Outrage, Beer Wars, and Freakonomics.

Meredith is an accomplished producer of award-winning documentary films, with a career spanning over two decades. Most recently, she served as president of Original Thinkers, a dynamic multi-media ideas festival and media company. Before that, she dedicated over 20 years to the Sundance Institute, where she played a key role in program development. Meredith was the founder and director of the Sundance Ignite Program, led the Sundance Film Forward Initiative, and was instrumental in the creation of the Sundance Institute’s Documentary Film Program.
Her producing credits include Home Front, which premiered at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival, and The Grand Rescue, which debuted at the Mountain Film Festival in 2014. She has also been a consulting producer for numerous award-winning documentaries.

Born in Manhattan and raised in Germany, Alex is a multilingual, cross-cultural documentary film producer and the CEO of Crescent Moon Films. Having lived and worked across Asia, his work reflects a lifelong engagement with international storytelling, cultural exchange, and the human stories that connect societies across borders.
As an executive producer, he has overseen the production of Bruce Brown: The Life of Endless Summers (2020) and Birth of The Endless Summer (2021), films that celebrate the legacy of legendary filmmaker Bruce Brown and the enduring spirit of surf culture.
Guided by a belief in the power of storytelling to inspire meaningful narrative change, Alex co-founded and serves as Managing Director of Bruce Brown Films, the iconic Los Angeles–based production company behind the Academy Award–nominated On Any Sunday (1971), starring Steve McQueen, and the groundbreaking lifestyle documentary The Endless Summer (1964).
He holds a joint Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Area Studies with an emphasis on Japan, as well as a Juris Master in Legal Studies from UCLA School of Law. Alex currently resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

She holds a BFA from the prestigeous Central Academy of Drama in Beijing and an MFA from the Nihon University Graduate School of Art in Tokyo, and further studied film production and development at UCLA. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Eastern Philosophy and Management (DEPM) at the University of the West in California.
Having lived in Japan and the United States and traveled to more than twenty countries, Feiyang brings a deeply cross-cultural perspective to her creative work. She is now based in Los Angeles and is fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English.

She is also the founder and managing partner of First Bight Ventures, a Houston-based venture capital firm focusing on advancing synthetic biology for a better future.
Her appreciation for the arts, including classical music and film, and in-depth understanding of the historical and the cultural significance of The Garden Bridge, motivated her to join Crescent Moon Films as a founding partner and executive producer.
